      Suite Life

Instead of dorms, Cottey’s on-campus living features 10-15 person suites with a mixture of new and returning students. Each suite has a kitchen, single and double bedrooms, a living area, and best of all: Cottey staff clean all of the shared areas!

Suite living makes it easy to adjust to campus life. There’s always someone to talk to, cook with, lean on, or study within your suite.

Hello, my name is Emma, and I'm a business major here at Cottey. I'm from Nevada, Missouri. Today, I'm going to be giving you a tour of PEO Hall. Here at Cottey, we have three residence halls, and my favorite is PEO. PEO Hall opens to this beautiful parlor. It was renovated in 2018. It has a very modern feel to it. To my left, you'll see our small conference room behind the sliding glass door. You'll also find our business center. There are large monitors with tables with outlets built into them. This makes it a great place to be comfortable and study with your friends. This side of the parlor is where the relaxing happens. We have a cozy fireplace area with couches and a nook and a big window where students like to curl up and take in some sunlight. Every residence hall here at Cottey is equipped with suites that house 10 to 15 students. Each suite contains a living room, kitchen, and bedrooms that can be single or double. Suite living is a part of the Cottey experience. We are a college that is focused on community, communication, leadership, and support. Many students make friends for life in their suites and find that they form strong bonds with the older students who mentor them and their suites. The best part about living in the suites - Cottey's custodial staff cleans the common areas for you every week. This has been a tour of PEO Hall. It is a comfortable, supportive, and community-based residence hall, just like the college itself.
