      Costs & Aid

Financing your education is a major investment. At Cottey College, we understand and are here to help.

We have a lot of aid opportunities available via merit scholarships and need-based grants. Our goal is for your to leave with as little debt as possible.

Almost every student receives some kind of institutional aid that they wouldn't have had access to without submitting their FAFSA application. Click here to learn more.

My name is Keriyion Cloyd. I go by Keri on campus. I am a freshman here, and I major in psychology, and I am from Menomonie Falls, Wisconsin. Based off of my parents' occupation, we didn't really have the finer things in life. However, I would say, we definitely had what we need. Financial stuff was okay, although we still you know - we have rent; we still have to get food stamps and stuff like that, so my biggest fear while enrolling at Cottey was definitely the tuition. Because my parents also had a lot of financial responsibilities at home, I didn't want them to have to worry about the financial responsibilities here, while I was away by myself. I was recruited as an athlete, appearing for Cottey College for the flag football team. So with that scholarship alone, and then I also applied for the Women of Science scholarship, my academic scholarship, even the music scholarship, and then also with the help of the PEO of Sisterhood scholarship, you know, those definitely added on to my tuition, and it just made it very affordable for me here. Working with the staff here at Cottey was a very beautiful process. The communication was spot on. It was very consistent. I was able to get my financial aid easily, thankfully with the assistance of them. Everything was very smooth going, I would say. I was able to get my scholarship mailed out, like they had the whole plan laid out for me. All I had to do was fill out papers. But yeah, they help you with everything here. For anybody who is worried about affording Cottey, I would say that communication is definitely the key. They are very prone to reaching out to you if you need any help. They are always open if you have any questions to ask. I would say that the process is very nice, so ask any questions that you have. Even if you feel like you can't afford it, you know, they're always willing to help. They're always willing to find other ways for you to get here. You will feel very secure.
